Impact: A Changing Land Exhibition

In 2007 and 2008, the Nelson Meers Foundation supported an exhibition by the State Library of NSW of material from its impressive environment and conservation collection.

Impact: A Changing Land provided an invaluable historical perspective on the effect, both positive and negative, which we have had on our Australian environment, dating from the first European arrival in 1788 to the modern day.

Why did we fund this project?  The exhibition revealed the lessons to be learnt from the past, and the way in which these lessons can be used to steer our way through the climate change crisis in which we now find ourselves.
