Belvoir St Theatre recently partnered with Powerhouse Youth Theatre for a special community consultation day supporting the development of the major new production, The Coconut Children.

Held in Fairfield, the event brought together local artists and community members to hear a table read of the work, share feedback, and connect with the creative team and one another.

The consultation marked the culmination of a week-long early rehearsal process, creating space for collaboration and community voices to help shape the production’s development.

The Coconut Children will premiere on Belvoir St Theatre’s main stage in November and December 2026.
