IndigiGrow has released a beautiful new short impact film that shares the story, purpose and impact of its work, including its pioneering Living Seedbank Project.
IndigiGrow is now entering its next chapter of Caring for Country by creating new patches of the critically endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS).
Today, just 3% of this unique ecological community remains along Sydney’s coastline, and the surviving remnants no longer produce enough seed to support large-scale restoration.
Through the Living Seedbank Project, IndigiGrow is increasing the supply of genetically appropriate native seed to restore this threatened ecosystem, strengthen biodiversity and create vital habitat for local wildlife for generations to come.
