12 women from across all Australia’s states and territories, together with the Victorian Women’s Trust, are leading a petition addressed to the House of Representatives demanding immediate and effective action to significantly reduce carbon emissions. The need for action is urgent, so we need a truly MONSTER petition, with hundreds of thousands of signatures.

Signatures were collected in time for the G20 in Brisbane 14-15 November 2014. The Monster Petition will then be presented to our national Parliament in late November 2014.

While the Monster Climate Petition was organized and led by women, climate change is affecting us all and the petition is for all Australians to sign, men and women, boys and girls.

The petition was also available in English and 7 other community languages.
