About

Dr Léuli Eshrāghi, a Sāmoan artist and curator based in Montréal, is internationally recognised for a practice centred on global Indigenous, Asian and Black visuality and ceremonial-political forms. They have presented work in major biennials including The National 4, MOMENTA Biennale de l’image, the 22nd Biennale of Sydney, and Sharjah Biennial 14, and currently serve as Curator of Indigenous Arts at the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal and Curatorial Researcher-at-Large at the University of Queensland.

Since 2024, Eshrāghi has acted as Curatorial Advisor, First Nations (global) to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, providing expert guidance on cultural protocols, artist and acquisition recommendations, international exhibition opportunities, and strengthening global professional networks to support First Nations programming and collection development.
