The Nelson Meers Foundation was proud to have supported the Australian World Orchestra (AWO), one of the most exciting orchestra initiatives in Australia’s cultural history, bringing together Australia’s most talented classical musicians from home and abroad to play together.

Following an electrifying inaugural season in 2011, the AWO has been wowing audiences around the world ever since, with Conductors such as Maestro Zubin Mehta and Sir Simon Rattle.
