Creating Australia is an independent not-for-profit organisation providing support and leadership for the Community Arts and Cultural Development (CACD) sector. CACD is a recognised art practice that embraces a wide range of activities where artists and cultural practitioners work within communities making art for the purposes of growth, positive change and improved health and well-being. CACD projects are happening in communities throughout Australia and are giving opportunities for the artistic and authentic expression, acknowledgement and celebration of personal and shared stories and culture.
