The Nelson Meers Foundation was honoured to join a group of funders to accept the invitation contained in the Uluru Statement from the Heart to support the Voice Referendum, a constitutionally enshrined representative mechanism to provide expert advice to Parliament about laws and policies that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Whilst we grieve the lost opportunity of the Voice Referendum, we will continue to work towards addressing equality and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
