Unguarded Moments

About

The Nelson Meers Foundation proudly supported Unguarded Moments, the City of Sydney’s Village Art project for Art and About Sydney 2011, produced in partnership with creative studio killanoodle and researcher & producer Sarah Barns.

Unguarded Moments presented a series of site-specific film portraits capturing the changing faces of Millers Point, with projections drawn from documentary films and photographs, featuring past & present residents and workers.

The Nelson Meers Foundation gave one of the projectors a home in our Walsh Bay office!

We were thrilled to support a project that delved into the living history of the land on which we work in Walsh Bay.  The working port, its waterside workers and its residents were beautifully re-inscribed back into the area’s present day environment, connecting the area’s living history and the ties existing within the community today.
