Creative Partnerships Australia and Chief Executive Women - Women in the Arts Scholarship
The Nelson Meers Foundation was proud to have supported, together with Creative Partnerships Australia and Chief Executive Women, three innovative scholarships designed specifically to develop leadership skills of women working in the cultural sector. Announced in November 2013, the scholarship winners were:
- Rebecca MacFarling of Musica Viva
- Skye O'Meara of Tjala Arts Centre
- Anne Reece of Darwin Festival.
Why did we fund this project? We believe strongly in building the resilience of the sector by ensuring that both arts practitioners and administrators have the resources and skills necessary to serve the arts in the most effective way.
